    Sundance Psychiatric Hospital is a 3-level structure that provides both in-patient and out-patient services. The first floor accommodates administration, dietary services, out-patient areas, pharmacy, records, deliveries, and other support functions.

    The second and third floors house the in-patients with activity areas and social spaces. With a total of 48 beds, each floor has two wings to separate the different patient types; children, adolescents, adults, and chemical dependants. An outdoor recreation area is also provided on-site.

    The services that were added to the hospital include a new main lobby and dining area, new administrative offices, an educational facility, an enlarged pre-op / pacu area, a new med surge area with 5 new operating rooms, a new physician’s lounge and a new physical plant. Tamperproof fixtures and shatterproof glass are provided throughout all patient areas for maximum safety.
